Tyrone Huntley
Tyrone made his directorial debut with his Offie Award winning production of Ain’t Misbehavin’ which received rave reviews at both The Mercury Theatre, Colchester and Southwark Playhouse (Best Director nominee, The Stage Debut Awards). As the theatre industry moved online during the Coronavirus pandemic, Tyrone directed projects for Barn Theatre and Wildcard Theatre Company including the premiere of Things I Can Laugh About Now by Shakira Newton.
As an actor, Tyrone’s appearance as Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (The Watermill Theatre) gained him a spot on the prestigious Ian Charleson Award shortlist and for his performance as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) he won an Evening Standard Theatre Award.

Tyrone studied Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and Law at The University of Huddersfield.
